IMG_0509“This is not a Press Conference! We aren’t trying to talk to they ass!” – Chicago Protester

Dear Reader,

I am not only acting as Journalist to aid my people in protesting against this reckless & thoughtless crime but I am a young activist, a victim to police brutality, excessive force, and disrespect. I may not be out on the streets fighting with them but I am using my God giving assets to peacefully protest with them. Will I join them in the streets? I haven’t decided that yet but I will fight with them peacefully using my human rights.

I could go into the accounts experienced  due to being a resident of Auburn-Gresham neighborhood right around the corner from the 6th District Chicago Police Station but because of reports released to public (from the Better Government Association) about the percentage of the corruption with in the police in Chicago-land area there is no need to. Everything is already evident on what the problem is: corrupt governing power.

I know that Laquan’s case crossed Anita Alvarez and Rahm Emmanuel’s desk prior to them releasing a 5 million hush settlement to the family and Journalist Brandon Smith’s forcefulness lawsuit to release the video. It took you guys over a year to have sympathy for 17-year old Laquan McDonald and serve him justice. For that we will not forgive or let up on you guys until you do what’s right. The rendered excuses given from the two of them is garbage especially from the Mayor poor piss morally ass. Why are the cops in fear of being filmed Mayor? Please answer this question. I can answer it: They are afraid of their corrupted acts and agendas being released to the public. Politics has been showing their hand very clearly.

As I watched Tony Briscoe’s periscope broadcast, a Chicago Tribune Reporter, I cried because I know and understand their pain. This is not a act of violence, it’s a act of SOS (Saving Our Souls). We are tired of being lied to, looked over, disrespected, lost, and our human rights not being taken into consideration. This country has very well documented the history of our ancestors slavery and oppression which this country’s wealth has been built on. We aren’t oblivious to our ancestors truth, how this country has been lying to us for over 400 years, and the current agenda of the future of this country to eliminate us.  We have been robbed of our: identity, history, culture, morals, values, integrity, respect, love, and importance to society.

We are tired and we will fight against the oppression until we retrieve our peace for our children, peers, brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers who have been tormented for centuries up until now.

And if no one has thanked Brandon Smith for his courageous act, I would like to thank you (Brandon Smith) on behalf of my people for making Laquan’s case surface and to be given the chance to be tried for justice.

Sincerely from the heart,

BK
