Colorado Springs, August 4, 2015/BKORNOWAY/- The Mile High State has brought to life an Argonaut classic kid from Chicago who is reinforcing on a new sea level. Video direction and production by D. Gaines and Triston Harris in the Rocky Mountains depicting Jay2’s “Bucket List” produced by Monte Booker. During the post production it was some healthy competition between the two visual producers on which individual edit was the best but together those guys achieved something that unofficially should be official. The Kidd name speaks volumes. I got to know one of my top ten artist in the city after 2 years for the first time for this Denver, Colorado trip that was put together and sponsored by D Gainz to produce something different for his peers.
I love “While Thinking” by Jay 2, in 2013 I was on a journey pursing my goals in broadcasting school and I need it motivation to keep going. This was one of those felt tracks that I just got it and it resonated. So meeting him 2 years after not knowing him was a pleasure.
We had a great road trip filled with trippy states lol (no name will be mentioned), good music, good vibes, and building relationships. Gainz opened our eyes to working together to achieve similar goals no matter what the task is.
I learned a lot about Jay 2 the Kidd Classic as an artist vs. him the human being. While on his journey to being one of the dopiest artist in the city he views his success from a different perspective of him up and coming. While being from the North side of Chicago he represents the side of the city people aren’t often seeing. When you aren’t from Chicago we know you are seeing how ruff the city is around the edges. We talked about school, listened to some of our favorite old music and artist, we talked about Chicago, we even touched bases on his development as Jeffrey influencing “Jay 2 The Kidd Classic” next step is getting you guys a interview with those details. Check out the work that we created well D gainz, Triston HD, and Jay 2 because I was just the personal assistant carrying the harmon from time to time, making sure we left nothing behind, and jumping in the water putting coconut oil in Jay 2’s head because he wouldn’t take off that damn polo hat lol.
