Title
Entitlement
The Difference
In the 19th century entitled was the most common and preferred word. Titled back in those days were referred to as having a noble title and was less used.
So let’s apply it to relationships:
Anyone can have a title but not have entitlement for example: Sade is my best friend she can ask me for anything we’re like sisters vs Kathy is my friend but we aren’t that close she doesn’t have friend benefits. That’s why you have to watch out for titles because some people give anyone titles.
Guys give girls titles a lot but only to get what they want (some guys). They will never include privileges that the title should have. Girls give titles the most because we’re emotional dreamy creatures and sometimes we think to much of a situation, and we claim it. How can you claim something without discussion? That’s the main problem. At the same token a guy will let the girl treat him as if he’s a boyfriend without stopping to think its a consequence, guys don’t lead girls on be direct about what you want. Be direct about what your willing to give and don’t accept certain things because it opens up a situation-ship.
The difference between a title and entitlement is that a title is a description, and entitlement is having benefits of a title.
Titles aren’t everything but if you have entitlement build on it, take it slow and be proud. Entitlement is a sense of ownership 🙂
