I’m about to give you a grammar, life, and inspirational lesson in one. It’s something that I’ve actually learned and not researched. I recently had a intellectual conversation with my big brother over Facebook. He posted a status stating ” To add on God created Adam and said he would not be alone so he created Eve to compliment and not complete. #DEEP so I don’t need a woman to complete me just compliment. ” -Julius Charles
So I commented on his status because I’m a inquisitive person w/ a smart 👄. This is my way of learning, it always has been. I never learned how regulars do. I’ve always had my own learning methods in school and life. Being a A-student since head-start doesn’t come easy. How can a child literally have straight A’s but have a F in conduct ? 😂😂😒
It wasn’t because I was disruptive I just was inquisitive. That child that had a question for everything, and today it hasn’t changed. It works for me, and I’ve never cared how it made the next person feel. As long as I learn a lesson at the end of the conversation/day I’m content.
So my inquisitive method lead me to pick both of our brains. I commented “Eve was created from Adams Rib. Which was a piece of him. A compliment is just an expression of praise, a gift , or present. Eve (women) were created to complement a man. To make him whole, to make him perfect. Just like good wine complements a meal. Big difference. You don’t need a gift, you need a women to complement you.” 😉 Lil big sis had to step in and correct big Lil bro.
Growing up having siblings is always great. We can have inspiring conversations and talk about anything. You can share deep thoughts and secrets, but not receive the feeling of being judge because we all monitor each others growth. I love my brother for thinking and growing into the man he wants to become. It inspires me that good men are still amongst us.
So back to the main point lbs! It lead to a very deep short ended conversation. His reply was ” Thx for correcting my grammar. But is it safe to say without knowing God you wouldn’t have that woman? So being complete you can sum up and say God completes me which enable me to find my rib that complements me. So basically GOD is the one at the end of the day we should praise even while in a relationship. My question to you is do you believe a woman actually completes a man without? Briyana Kelly”. Good response huh?
My response “No a woman doesn’t complete a man without. That’s the difference between dating a boy and a man. A man is one of god. Once he has god, then he finds out who he is, then his destiny becomes clear and he’s able to find his rib to complete him. Which enables his journey in life to be wonderful in gods eyes, successful, peaceful, and complete.”
His final reply ” Tru its said he who finds a wife finds a good thing and have the lord favor. Proverbs. So I believe we both agree that without knowing God that man can’t find a wife. And we can also agree its not up to the woman to find a husband, when he desires a female he will find that one.”

Compliment vs. Complement
Compliment -an expression of praise, commendation, or admiration: A sincere compliment boosts one’s morale.
Complement-something that completes or makes perfect: A good wine is a complement to a good meal.
These words are homophones, which means they sound similar but have different meanings.
Life Lesson
I learned that a woman can compliment a man but does that make either of you complement each other? I was told by my great aunt “….niece never marry for love, marry for convenience.” No disrespect to my aunt because she’s a wise woman but everyone has their own philosophy when it comes to life. I make my own rules and decisions. I kept listening to her as she tried to convince me that was the way to go. In my mind I’m thinking 💭”Why the F**k would I do that ?” , it doesn’t seem fair to cheat or treat myself that way.
I know a can complement a man so why sell my self short, share my abilities and capability with a loser. There’s a difference between a boy and a man, just like there’s a difference between a girl, bitch, and a woman. Everybody has to mature in life, suffer loses, gain wins, and experience the reciprocal love. Yes as young adults even as teenagers we make wrong decisions intimately and relationship choices. Your first love may not be your only love in life like many hope. In my opinion it’s not a fairyland story, it can actually happen. If it doesn’t in the words of Bob Marley “If she’s amazing, she won’t be easy. If she’s easy, she won’t be amazing. If she’s worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you’re not worthy. … Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.” Doesn’t , mean she’ll/ he’ll be perfect or hasn’t loved at all before it just means she/he has experience in life. Good and bad.

Inspiration
If your morales, values , and goals are set in life you can’t lose as a woman. Your man will match up with you once he finds you. Stop chasing these boys and let a man sweep you off your feet, as women we should always remain ladies. It’s a mans job to locate his queen.
Not being stereotypical but it just makes more sense. If he’s a King you will balance each other out and become unstoppable together as long as you guys stay down. It takes a strong man to live righteously and go after what he wants because at the end of the day he know its not all about the chase. It’s about the win and the gain of having something much greater than a compliment, it’s about being complemented. So lets stop wasting our time fooling around and set boundaries, goals, morales, and values for ourself as men &women so that we can be whole in God’s will and life.
